Gainer (noun)- acrobatic trick of performing a backwards somersault while still moving forward
Tchotchke (noun)- bauble, bibelot, curio, doodad, gewgaw, gimcrack, kickshaw, knickknack, trinket; a small object that is decorative rather than strictly functional
Trampoline (noun)- a piece of equipment that has a sheet of strong cloth attached by springs to a metal frame and is used for jumping up and down
Tambourine (noun)– a percussion instrument resembling a shallow drum with small metal disks in slots around the edge, played by being shaken or hit with the hand
Inner Tube (noun)– an inflatable usually ring-shaped rubber tube designed for use inside a tire
On my way to Rockport one weekend, I saw a French guy with a pretzel inner tube on the commuter rail. I wonder why he didn’t deflate it first. Pretty goofy stuff.
