Each year I complete a bingo card put together by the Boston Public Library as part of their summer reading challenge. While visiting a college friend in NH, I learned that I won the participation prize of a $20 gift card to a local independent bookstore of my choice! As I take part in the BPL summer challenge and Goodread’s annual reading challenge year after year, before I knew it, I became a voracious reader. In addition to reading during my spare time on that trip, there were many highlights, not the least of which, spending time with friends:

  • Hiking Mt Kearsarge in the fog
  • Dinner out at Poor Tom’s Tavern
  • Hiking Mt Cardigan
  • Playing the board game Pandemic
  • Playing the lawn game Molkky
